28 Gates Farmstay and Fishery at Gretna offers family farmstay accommodation within the bounds of historic “Bloomfield”, a 7th generation 5500 acre grazing property that dates back to 1862.

It’s distinctive for its sweeping pastures, rolling hills, trout-rich lakes and at least 80 species of birds including 7 of the 12 endemic birds of Tasmania.

The accommodation itself is nestled within the working farm, and a short drive to three lakes well stocked with Rainbow Trout, Wild Brown Trout and Tiger Trout, perfect for fly fishing.
