The Castle Hotel is located in Bothwell, a classified historic town one hour’s drive north of Hobart, gateway to Tasmania’s Central Highlands and Great Lake District. The Castle Hotel is a large Georgian style property, continuously licensed since 1829, making it one of the oldest licensed hotels in Australia.
The accommodation at the Castle has been refurbished.
